To achieve
this goal Reich uses a 3 mm pure sheet of
stainless steel to make the housing of machine.
The most important part of a band saw is the
table. Therefore this part is made even out of 4
mm stainless steel for they models Combi 200 up
to Universal 300.

machines are nowadays cleaned by means of high
pressure cleaners Reich
decided to weld the housing completely. By using
this manufacturing method no gaskets
or seals are used and therefore cannot be
destroyed either.

of this unit which is hinged to the under side of
machine's head safely and fast small pieces of

pusher removable if the lateral height of cutting
exceeds 245 mm. Therefore all Reich bandsaws from

free electrical brake system.
It is basically a rectifier and a transformer.
This applies the motor with an direct current and
stops the blade within 4 seconds.
Due to this simple but effective electric brake
system no special trained service engineers are

to repair the control panel in case a part is
malfunctioning.
By use of electrical standard components by well
known manufactures a world-wide availability
of these parts is guaranteed.
The electric control system is installed in a
waterproof separate housing. To avoid condense

inside the control box it is slightly heated.
This prevents also a oxidation of the condactor
contacts and ensures a trouble free operation. |

bearings for the upper pulley are installed in
the wheel hub.

of the force onto the ball bearings and ensures
